There are several reasons a lease may need to be modified after going out to tenants for signing. Even if the tenants have already completed their digital signatures, edits can be made, and then tenants will be able to re-sign.
Please note: Once the lease is finalized with a landlord signature, no further changes can be made. It will be necessary to contact email@example.com for assistance removing this so a new one can be started fresh.
To get started editing the lease, navigate to the Leases Page
Then press the More^ button and select View Lease for the lease needing edited.
For mobile devices, press on the blue bar at the bottom of the screen that reads Message Your Tenants
On a standard monitor, the Unlock To Edit button should already display next to the lease form.
Pressing Unlock to Edit will retract the lease from being signed by tenants as well as remove any existing signatures.
Lessees, calendar dates, fees, clauses, rules, etc. can now be updated as needed.
Once finished, simply press Send For Signing again and lessees will all be notified by email that the lease is again ready for review and signature.
