Retaining dependable renters is one of the main goals of property management. Sending a renewal lease to confirm another year term can be one of the most satisfying parts of being a landlord. Avail makes it easy.
Whether or not current tenants previously signed an Avail lease, a new lease can be easily created and sent for digital signature when it is time to renew.
The Unit View page will indicate a renewal period reminder. Ideally landlords will requests tenants to confirm their intentions 60-90 days prior to lease end so that at the 60 day point either the new lease can be sent for signature, or the property can be relisted for rent.
From the Unit View, navigate to the Leases tab. Press the ^More button and select Renew Lease.
If the tenant(s) previously signed an Avail digital lease, it will be duplicated for a new term, and all tenants will be automatically added to it. The lease is still fully editable, and tenants can be added or removed as needed. Simply complete any desired changes and press Send for Signing.
If the tenants did not previously sign digitally through Avail, it is still easy to setup an Avail lease for signature. Similarly select Renew Lease from the ^More menu.
Avail will then provide a walk through of generating a digital lease for electronic signatures.
