How to connect roommates to an existing application
I am in the process of screening applications for potential tenants and one of my applicants informed me that they will have a roommate who also needs to complete an application. I want to attach two applications so I navigate to the application page of my property and click the "view application" on the right hand side of already request application.
On the next page, I will click on the "edit" button on the upper right hand side above the application.
Once I have opened the edit screen for this application, I will navigate to the area titled "enter applicant(s) information. Below the existing applicant's information is an area to add in the full name and the email of the applicant's roommate. Once I have entered that information I will click "add applicant" to the right.
Once I have clicked "add applicant" I will see that the roommate has been added to this application and an email has been sent with instructions regarding how to complete the application.
I can remove the applicants at any time by clicking on the "trash can" icon to the right. I can also edit the applicant names by clicking on the "pencil" icon. Please note: you cannot edit the information once the applicant has created an account and started the application.
After I have added all the roommates, I will be able see that all the roommate applications are attached together on the application page:
