Understanding the Various Statuses of an Avail Application
Avail applications have various steps for applicants to complete. As a landlord, you are able to track the progress of the application step by step, but what do the various statuses of the application mean?
There are two areas in the application feature that show statuses of the application process. The first is when you navigate into the applications page, each application will have a status bar like the ones below:
"Requested": This status means that the application has been requested. At this point, the applicant may or may not have created an account and started the application.
"Forms Received": This status means that the applicant has completed and submitted their application.
"View Lease": This status means that the landlord has selected a tenant and has drafted a lease.
The next status bars appear when clicking the "view application" button that on each individual application:
"Application requested": This is the status that appears when an application has been requested, but the applicant has yet to create a Rentalutions account and start their application.
"Rental form started": This is the status that appears when the applicant has created an Avail account and started filling out their application.
"Rental form complete": This is the status that appears when the applicant has completed only their "Renter Profile". This includes information about rental history, job history, and income verification.
"All steps complete": This is the status that appears when the applicant has completed and submitted their entire application. If the landlord required TransUnion reports to be run, they will now be available.
